Plaza Arts Fair

Friday, September 19 – Sunday, September 21

The 83rd annual Plaza Arts Fair takes place this weekend, and will be spotlighting over 240 artists from across the country. This top-ranked national art event is a great opportunity for the whole family to embrace the arts. Enjoy vendors and artist tenths as well as culinary arts, three live music stages, a kids art workshop, and the convenience of a trolley shuttle. Just a few blocks away, we’ll also be holding the beautiful condominium at 5038 Walnut open this Saturday and Sunday from 1 – 3 pm. 11th Annual Mission Arts and Eats Festival

Friday, September 19

4 to 10 p.m.

Find entertainment for the whole family in Mission for their annual Arts and Eats Festival. Enjoy arts and crafts booths, local food vendors, and spray paint artists. The festival will also be home to the Kansas City Barbecue Society “Battle of the Brisket State Competition,” and over 65 BBQ teams. Get a taste of the best Kansas City barbecue while listening to live musical entertainment. Raymore Festival in the Park

Thursday, September 18 – Saturday, September 20

Looking for a way to kick off your fall festival season? Head out to Raymore for their annual Fall Festival in the Park.  Complete with a city parade, barbecue and baking contest, car show and volleyball tournament, this festival has it all. Where else can you enjoy a beer garden and a civil war reenactment in the same day? You won’t want to miss out on the Raymore Festival in the Park.

Jesse James Festival

Thursday, September 18 – Sunday, September 21

Head out to Kearney this weekend for the 44th Jesse James Festival, and get your fill of entertainment. Enjoy their signature beer garden, rodeo, carnival, food and craft vendors, and festival dance nights under the stars. Waldo Fall Festival

Saturday, September 20

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Waldo Fall Festival begins this year with the exciting announcement of Waldo’s new mayor, kicking off a full day of family-fun activities and live performances. The festivities include contests, live music, dog shows, and the Kansas City Zoomobile. The festival is also calling for a special guest appearance by KC Wolf from noon to 1 p.m.! Come down to the CVS parking lot at 75th and Wornall to join in on the Waldo Fall Festival.
