If you love wine, the Power & Light District is the place to be this Saturday afternoon. Sip, taste and explore at the KC Wine Walk from 3-6 p.m. at some of your favorite downtown restaurants. Enjoy live music along 14th Street, wine tastings and small plates at each of the participating venues. Proceeds benefit No Kid Hungry. General Admission includes a souvenir tasting glass, wine tasting and small plate at each of the seven participating venues and a full glass of wine of your favorite varietal. Participating venues include Bar Louie, Bristol Seafood Grill-Downtown KC, The Chesterfield, Cleaver & Cork, Drunken Fish, KC Garment Collective and Yard House. Tickets are sold out online, so visit one of the participating locations to buy yours.

Yoga at KC Bier Co

If you’re a fan of beer, yoga or both, KC Bier Co is the place to be on Saturday at 11 a.m. Every third Saturday of each month, the prominent local brewery hosts a one hour yoga session with Hagoyah instructer Anna Marie. These events are held outside in the #KCBierCo biergarten to take advantage of the beautiful Kansas City spring weather and sunshine. All yoga level participants are welcome. Just bring your mat and water bottle and they’ll take care of the rest! After your session, be sure to stop into the tap room to try some of KC Bier Co’s many beer varieties.
