Happy Labor Day! It’s that time of year again – time to put away your white clothing (although who really does that?) and soak up the last of the summer rays. Autumn is on its way, but before the leaves can start to change, you’re going to want to attend at least one of the great events happening this weekend! Come out and celebrate your Labor Day with us during this weeks list of Kansas City events!
Kansas City Events (August 27 – September 3)
Kansas City Irish Fest
Friday through Sunday, August 29 – 31
The streets of Crown Center will soon be filled with the melodic hymns of bagpipes and the sweet smell of Irish whiskey. You don’t want to miss out on the authentic sounds and dances of Ireland, and of course, the varying Irish whiskeys that make the dances actually happen. Additionally, our very own Boulevard Brewing Company will be holding beer tastings throughout the weekend. Grab your taste of Ireland this weekend at the Kansas City Irish Fest!
Santa-Cali-Gon Days

With a concert series every night of the festival, a classic carnival, and over 400 food & craft vendors, Historic Downtown Independence will have you coming back year after year.
