The Kansas City Folk Fest will take over the Westin Crown Center all day this Sunday for a one-day indoor folk festival. Bring your friends and family to check out the event throughout the day to catch music performances on multiple stages, a square dance for all ages, and an artisan marketplace with jewelers, painters, potters, instrument makers and more. Described as “close to home and far from ordinary” the event is not-to-be-missed and marks the beginning of a warm February tradition. No Other Pub by Sporting KC’s Grand Opening

If you’re a big Sporting KC fan, then you won’t want to miss the grand opening of their new Power & Light bar, No Other Pub, this coming Monday at 4 p.m. It’s worth sneaking out of the office a bit early for, as a one-of-a-kind sports bar, gaming parlor and social lounge designed specifically around the Sporting KC fan experience. No Other Pub will be the premier destination to watch sporting events in Kansas City, especially all home and away matches for Sporting KC. The pub will also feature a comprehensive selection of every local craft beer and spirit made in Kansas City, as well as a full food and drink menu including a fast-casual taco stand.
