One of Kansas City’s favorite holiday traditions, the Holiday Express Train brings Santa and his elves to Union Station just before Christmas. You and your family can visit with Santa and tour the train and its activities for free.  With something for all ages to enjoy, the Holiday Express train includes a smiling tank car, Rudy; a flatcar carrying Santa’s sleigh, reindeer and a miniature village; a gingerbread boxcar; the elves’ workshop; the reindeer stable; and, of course, a little red caboose.
