It’s about time you get to know some of the Dani Beyer Real Estate team members better than you may already! Every couple weeks, we’ll be filling you in on some fun, little known facts as well as the reason they’ve chosen a career path in real estate.
Sarah Montgomery is our Lead Buyer’s Specialist. She is upbeat, optimistic, fun – and let’s not forget her negotiation skills. Her philosophy is, “You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar,” and she has no problem stinging if anyone tries to put her buyers in a corner!
Q: What’s your favorite hobby?
A: Other than checking out homes (and, yes, that’s my job too – winning!), I love decorating and making a house feel like a home. Whether it’s shopping online from the comfort of my couch or browsing a garage sale, I’m always on the hunt for the next ‘gotta have it’ piece.
Q: What famous person would play you in a movie?
A: Melissa McCarthy
Q: What drink describes you best and why?
A: Irish cream cold brew – because it’s a mix of a classic coffee with a refreshing twist that packs a caffeine punch to the face.
Q: What’s your favorite activity to do in Kansas City?
A: As cheesy as it sounds, my favorite activities happen around my home in KC – it can be a night with the family and a few friends on our patio grilling or playing chalk and bubbles with my son Jack in the front driveway. These are the small things where I have a ton of fun and make the most memories.
Q: What do you love most about being an agent on the Dani Beyer Real Estate team?
A: These ladies are not only badass real estate mavens, but are an absolute blast to be around. It is fantastic being able to have the support of a team and being around strong powerful women is contagious.
Q: How did you get started in real estate?
A: I always had a love for everything home related. After being in new construction plumbing and getting a taste for the home building process and working a bit with clients building a home, I knew I’d really love to help with the entire process. While I was still working, I attended night classes to get my license. After starting out on my own, I quickly realized there is a lot to learn about selling real estate and what better way to learn than with a strong team like Dani Beyer Real Estate?! Three years later and still going strong.
Q: What is your design aesthetic?
A: I would describe my design aesthetic as classic cozy. I like everything to have its place and be somewhat minimal. I like to make sure the decor is functional as well as pretty.
