Arts and Crafts Festival 2015

This two day festival features the largest selection of rare, aged and exclusive craft beers, live music, local artists and independent film. This year’s event includes 6 movies, 8 local bands, over 12 unique artists and over 100 different brews to sample and enjoy. Plus, proceeds from the event help to benefit KC Pet Project. Tickets are limited to 300 each day, so buy yours in advance. Regular ticket includes all regularly scheduled events including movies, bands, artists, games, beer samples and a tasting glass.

Are you crazy about bacon? If so, you won’t want to miss the entire event dedicated to bacon going on this Saturday at Ameristar Casino. Enjoy all things bacon while helping children and adults who are newly disabled, with proceeds benefiting The Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City (RIKC). Tickets are on sale now, and a limited amount will also be available at the door, but if you’re serious about bacon you should buy your tickets in advance. General admission will get you an event t-shirt, commemorative drink cup, 4 beer stations and a sample from each Pork Partner, as well as unlimited drink upon entrance.

Spend your weekend at the Kansas City Air Show for a day filled with fun for the whole family. Kids and adults alike will love watching the arial acrobatics performed by the nation’s elite such as the Blue Angels jet team and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team. Set up on a quarter-mile of the tarmac at the Wheeler Downtown Airport will be static and interactive displays, photo opportunities, a Kids Zone, food and other refreshments to enjoy throughout the day.
