Disney’s NEWSIES hits the stage at the Kansas City Music Hall with multiple shows running all weekend. Winner of the 2012 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Choreography, Disney’s NEWSIES is a high-energy explosion of song and dance you don’t want to miss. The classic musical was inspired by the real-life “Newsboy Strike of 1899,” when newsboy Kid Blink led a band of orphan and runaway newsies on a two-week-long action against Pulitzer, Hearst and other powerful newspaper publishers. A great show for all ages, tickets are going fast, so order yours online in advance.

Star Wars Weekend at the Kansas City Zoo
