At Dani Beyer Real Estate, we know a home becomes truly special when it’s filled with gratitude, great food, and the people who make life meaningful. As Thanksgiving rolls around, our team wanted to take a moment to share what’s filling our hearts (and our plates) this season.

From freshly-ground cardamom pies to melt-in-your-mouth chicken, from Costco pumpkin pie heroism to kid-shuttling chaos that also counts as a blessing — our DBRE crew has plenty to be thankful for this year. And just like any good holiday gathering, we’re pulling everyone around the table: team members, recipes, reflections, and a whole lot of appreciation for the Kansas City community we get to serve.

So grab a fork (or at least a mental one), settle in, and enjoy a collection of our team’s favorite Thanksgiving thank-yous and go-to recipes. We hope they add a little warmth, inspiration, and maybe even a new dish to your holiday spread. From our DBRE family to yours — Happy Thanksgiving!

🍁 Dani Beyer Real Estate Team Gratitude & Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes

Tara Gase, Real Estate Agent

What I’m Thankful For:
I’m thankful for my family and the friends who have become family. I’m also endlessly grateful for the community we live in — a place where people show up for each other in times of need and uncertainty. It’s one of the many reasons I love calling Kansas City home.

My Favorite Recipe:
This incredible pie recipe from the New York Times has become a personal favorite. Freshly grinding the cardamom makes all the difference (trust me). The laminated pie crust is extra work, but wow… worth every fold. If you want to keep it simple, a regular crust works beautifully too.

Hunter Turley, Client Coordinator

What I’m Thankful For:
I’m thankful for this team and our incredibly welcoming environment. Learning real estate, earning my licenses, and growing alongside such supportive people has made this year unforgettable. I can’t wait to keep learning and growing with everyone.

My Favorite Recipe:
The best recipe ever: Melt-in-Your-Mouth Caesar Chicken.

Annie Grayson, Listing Manager

What I’m Thankful For:
I’m thankful for family and friends — simple, steady, and everything that matters.

My Favorite Recipe:
I love all the traditional Thanksgiving foods, but here’s a simple twist that tastes like magic:
Fresh cranberries + orange segments + bay leaves + sugar + cinnamon sticks.
Simmer it all together until it becomes fragrant and delicious. Bonus: leftovers make the perfect crostini topping with goat cheese!

Amber Ryan, Real Estate Agent

What I’m Thankful For:
My kids. Watching them grow, learn, and change at lightning speed reminds me to slow down and savor the little moments. I’m grateful for how amazing they are.

My Favorite Recipe:
I’m also immensely grateful for Costco Pumpkin Pie, which is as delicious as it is time-saving. (I could make it… but why?)

Jill Townsend, Buyer’s Specialist

What I’m Thankful For:
I’m thankful for my family, good health, and the beautiful chaos of shuttling kids to their favorite activities. It may be hectic, but I truly wouldn’t trade it for anything.

My Favorite Recipe:

A family-favorite grape salad that Luke absolutely loves. It’s easy, sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly irresistible at any holiday gathering.

Desi Jostmeyer, Real Estate Agent

What I’m Thankful For:
This year, I’m especially thankful for family. My husband has been incredibly supportive as I’ve balanced work and motherhood with our one-year-old. My in-laws, who live with us, have been an absolute blessing — always willing to help and building the sweetest bond with our daughter. And of course, I’m endlessly grateful for a happy, curious, healthy little one-year-old who has made 2025 unforgettable. I’m truly grateful for the village around me.

My Favorite Recipe:
One of the best banana puddings you’ll have in your entire life…

Asha Abbott, Real Estate Agent

What I’m Thankful For:
I’m thankful for a year of growth and the people who have supported me along the way.

My Favorite Recipe:
Another fan of the classics — Sweet Potato Casserole! It’s a staple for a reason.

🍂 Thankful Thoughts

Whether your Thanksgiving looks like a perfectly set table or a joyful mess of kids, casseroles, and Costco pies, we hope it’s full of connection, comfort, and love.
