Zona Rosa Arts Festival

Friday, September 12 – Sunday, September 14

The streets of Zona Rosa will be flooded this weekend with gorgeous works of art for the 11th Annual Zona Rosa Arts Festival. The three-day festival will showcase local and nationally acclaimed artists, along with live music and community performances. A free children’s art tent will also be set up for kids to create their own masterpieces. Come check out the Zona Rosa Arts Festival and support the Kansas City arts.

9th Annual Paws in the Park

This one’s for the dogs. Spend this Saturday morning at the English Landing Park to support the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter at Paws in the Park. The all day event is fun for animal lovers of all ages. Come out for raffles, food vendors, KC Disc Dogs performances, a one-mile dog walk, adoptable pet parade, a biscuit eating contest, and a canine costume contest. The historic Bingham-Waggoner Estate will house the second annual Independence Uncorked festival, and is promising to make this year’s even better than the last.
