Come out to Historic Weston this weekend for THE Holiday Homes tour of the season! Voted Kansas City’s ‘Best Day Trip’ 10 years in a row, Weston, MO is the perfect place to spend the day. The home tour features three traditional antebellum homes, a 1920’s cottage, and a downtown loft. Downtown Weston will also be looking its Sunday best, with streetlights adorned in greenery and lights, and streets lined with luminaries. Holiday Wild at the Kansas City Zoo

Spend a day with Santa, and enjoy the festivities he brings to the zoo! Meet with Santa, get your picture taken, and tell him what you want for Christmas! Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) members will also enjoy an exclusive breakfast snack and special meet and greet with Santa from 8:30 – 10 a.m. Come spend time at this Kansas City landmark and come early – seats are limited!
Downtown Dazzle Fireworks Display

Add sparkle to your Saturday night at Crown Center! Join us for a spectacular fireworks show over downtown Kansas City, take pictures in front of the Mayors Christmas tree, and let your kiddos call the North Pole from Crown Center’s very own North Pole Communication Center! You won’t want to miss out on these festivities!
The Nutcracker

Experience the Kansas City Ballet’s rendition of The Nutcracker, a holiday favorite here in Kansas City. Enjoy the spectacular sights and sounds, including The Mouse King, Toy Soldiers, and wondrous music by the Kansas City symphony. 2014 marks the 100th birthday of the creator of Kansas City Ballet’s Nutcracker, Todd Bolender, making this year more special than ever. Grab a picture with your favorite characters before or after the show, and make sure to brush yourself off after the performance (the falling snow inside the theatre is a sight to remember!) Named one of the Top Holiday Things to do in Kansas City by about.com, Christmas in the Park is an experience to share with the whole family. Fill up the tank and be witness to over 300,000 glowing bulbs and 175 animated figures. A weekend trip through the entire park could take a few hours due to high traffic volume, so make sure you have plenty of time! This free event is truly a Winter Wonderland! Happy Holidays!
