This is it. Tonight’s game is the biggest thing to happen in Kansas City since 1985 – and we couldn’t be more proud or more excited for Kansas City and all its citizens. This week, we wanted to take a moment to share with you all the reasons why we love living in this great city. Kansas City is our home – love where you live!

Dani Beyer Real Estate Presents: 10 Reasons We Love Living In Kansas City

1

  1. The Food

We’re more than just barbecue. The list of Kansas City Originals has a restaurant and dish to satisfy every craving. Looking for a great burgers? Blanc Burgers + Bottles. In the mood for Italian? Cascones. Steaks? Hereford House. Whatever you’re feeling, KC has it.

  1. The Brews

Martin City Brewery, the Kansas City Bier Company, Cinder Block Brewery, Rock & Run, and of course, the Boulevard Brewing Company embody the spirit of Kansas City in every original craft draft they pour. The signature Kansas City breweries work hard and make quality beers that every city would be envious of.

  1. The Holidays

There’s no better place to be for the holidays than Kansas City, and if you’ve ever attended the Plaza lighting ceremony, you know why. All of the sights, sounds, and tastes of the city are illuminated during the holiday season. And although the weather isn’t always stellar, Kansas City always looks it best with a layer of snow on the ground.

  1. The Plaza

In addition to the Plaza lighting ceremony, this upscale shopping district is one of our favorite go-to’s anytime of year. Great food, great drinks, and great shopping will keep the Plaza and the spirit of Kansas City alive for years to come.

  1. The Culture

Never boring, Kansas City’s wide array of events and districts has something to offer everyone: First Friday’s in the Crossroads, Union Station, 18th and Vine Jazz District, the Plaza Art Fair, the Nelson-Atkins Museum, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, and every performing arts theater across the city is some of the most fun you’ll ever have.

  1. The Districts

The Plaza, Westport, Waldo, Brookside, Martini Corner, Power & Light, River Market, The Crossroads… Wherever you call home, there’s sure to be fun just around the corner.

7

  1. Cost of Living

With one of the lowest costs of living in the country, there’s no better place to rest your head at night. Living in the middle of the country has its advantages, like cheaper gas, cheaper rent, and a higher yearly salary than most of the United States. It’s easy to stretch a budget, and you can find stellar real estate at prices you could never find elsewhere.

8

  1. The Kansas City Chiefs

Land of the free, home of the Chiefs. Last year’s playoff stint has left the Chiefs unabashed and ambitious this season, giving us games like last weeks 34-7 victory over the St. Louis Rams. There’s a reason Arrowhead has broken the world record for loudest stadium – the fans are simply the best.

MLB: Kansas City Royals at Chicago White Sox

  1. The Kansas City Royals

Call them whatever you will: underdogs, wildcards, America’s team, it doesn’t matter; the Kansas City Royals will always be our hometown team. No matter the score of tonight’s game, we have never been so proud of a team in all our lives. They work hard, and do it right. They’re not boastful or raucous. They’re simply players who are doing it for the love of the game. The Royals are not just a sports team – they’re the epitome of Kansas City.

& Most Importantly… 10. The People

Ultimately, there’s no better people on the face of the planet. Kansas Citians are sharp, genuine, hard-working, welcoming, creative…. we could go on forever.  As a real estate company, we meet all kinds of people, and overall, we couldn’t imagine a better city with better people. It feels like family here. From the whole team at Dani Beyer Real Estate, we thank you for your support – not just for us, but for the whole city. There’s no place like home.
