This Thursday through Saturday the 7th Annual INK’s Middle of the Map Fest returns to the Kansas City Area featuring music, films, speakers and more. Three full days of more than 100 bands and events will take place all across the city in venues from record stores to patios to stages and more in various areas including Westport, Downtown and The Crossroads Arts District. The 3rd Annual Spring Swing

Spend your Saturday or Sunday getting caught up in Kansas City’s whimsical craft scene at the Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair’s 3rd Annual Spring Swing taking over the grounds at the Alexander Majors Historical House this weekend. Come see the organizers were voted one of the top indie craft fairs in the world! Meander through more than 100 handmade & vintage vendors and grab a snack from one of the delicious food trucks such as Coffee Cake KC, Pita for Good, Werner’s on Wheels and KC Pinoy. Enjoy live music, kids crafts, a photobooth and so much more.

The KC Streetcar’s First Birthday

Come celebrate one year of the KC Streetcar in downtown Kansas City on Saturday. All are welcome to this family friendly, community event under the big tent outside Union Station. Mayor Sly James will kick off the festivities and DJ Kemet the Phantom will get everyone dancing with his music. Check out the latest line and streetcar shirts from MADE Urban Apparel. There will be food trucks, games, art, a clown, balloons, giveaways, and, of course, birthday cake!

The Derby Party at the Kansas City Museum

Looking for somewhere to watch The Derby on Saturday? Head to the Kansas City Museum for their annual party.
