NASCAR returns to the Kansas Speedway this Saturday. See the NASCAR Cup Series race at night as the first of two NASCAR Cup Series races at Kansas Speedway in 2017. See the best in racing compete at this premier facility, located in the heart of the Midwest. Parking at Kansas Speedway is free, and fans can bring in a soft-sided cooler filled with their favorite food and beverage. Parking lot will open at noon, purchase your tickets online in advance.

The treats don’t stop there! The Zoo along with partners at Sun Fresh will be giving Moms a special gift. Visit the Zoo’s doting moms, Makari and her nearly two-year-old daughter Masika and Josie, and her one-year old baby, Dusty, then check out one of the many shows or restaurants the zoo has to offer to round out your trip.

Tour de Bier

The Tour de Bier KC is a casual, point-to-point bicycle tour of Kansas City’s modern breweries, historic brewing landmarks and more. Participants learn about the rich history of brewing in Kansas City and hear the stories and urban legends surrounding brewing in Kansas City. On the tour, you’ll hear about the “wettest block in the world,” the link between beer and baseball, and where Kansas City’s only alligator pit was located. There’s a route for all skill levels, with 17-, 35-, and 50-mile route options. Paid registration includes lunch & 2 beverages at the end party and souvenir maps with self-guided tour information. Proceeds benefit BikeWalkKC‘s education and advocacy work.
