Chalk Walk in Historic Northeast

April 29 & 30
Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
FREE Event

Back for the 10th annual event, the Chalk Walk will once again be taking over Kessler Park in the Historic Northeast, featuring art for young and old, professional or amateur. This free family fun event will have four featured artists and professional chalk provided. The event, in the tradition of European 16th Century street painting, transforms the dull, grey concrete of the sidewalks and surface of the Concourse Park Fountain into colorful, pastel canvases. Kids and parents will join local, amateur and practicing artists to create everything from temporary chalk “masterpieces” to some colorful games of Tic-Tac-Toe.
