The Royals are back at Kauffman Stadium for the 2017 season. This weekend they’ll be there Friday through Sunday taking on the Los Angeles Angels. The weather is nice, and now is the perfect opportunity to catch a game. Arrive early to tailgate in the parking lot, and check out the kids’ activities behind the outfield once inside the stadium. This year also brings new concession options and a wider variety of Boulevard beers throughout the stadium due to their new craft beer sponsorship of the team. Win or lose, watching the boys in blue is always guaranteed to be a good time.

Also be sure to check out Falcon’s Flight, a hair-raising thrill at nearly 100 feet above the ground. This ride spins and rises at the same time with more than 50 riders at a time. Zona Rosa’s Kansas City Easter Parade
Saturday, April 15th
11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
FREE
Back for it’s 11th year, be sure to check out the Zona Rosa Easter Parade, with activities going on all day on Saturday. In 2006, Zona Rosa reintroduced a local favorite: Kansas City’s own Easter Parade. It was met with such fanfare, that the event has become an annual tradition at Zona Rosa. This FREE community event features the Easter Bunny, a “Best Dressed” walking parade featuring Spring & Easter finery, a petting zoo, family games at Town Square, and much more. Similar to years past, the Easter Bunny is free to visit, however, there will not be a professional photographer on-site at the bunny’s bench, so you are welcome to bring your own cameras to take personal photos.
