The summer season’s almost over (although it certainly hasn’t felt like it these past couple of days), but that doesn’t mean they’re aren’t plenty of ways to savor the last lazy days of summer vacation. Come see us out and about in Kansas City this weekend at our favorite events happening this week!

Beautiful Of Hot Air Balloons 32

U.S. Bank Midwest Great Balloon Fest

Friday through Sunday, August 8 -10, sunrise to sunset

The Kansas Speedway skyline will be brimming with bright yellows, blues, pinks and greens this weekend, and not just from the sunrise. Bank Midwest’s annual Balloon Fest is back in Kansas City, and the upcoming weather forecast is making it look to be the best entertainment all weekend. With over fifty balloons (some coming as far away as Belgium), tethered and untethered balloon rides, giant kites, and a Kidz Zone complete with a petting zoo, arts and crafts tent, bouncy houses and a performing arts tent, this must-see event is perfect for the whole family! Come early on Saturday and Sunday morning to see hot air balloon competitions, and bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the sights above. To make reservations for balloon rides or for additional information, visit the Midwest Balloon Fest.
