96.5 The Buzz is hosting its annual summer bash Buzz Beach Ball in Sporting Park this Saturday. You won’t want to miss out on this all day concert of great music from headlining bands such as Alt-J, AWOLNATION, Taking Back Sunday and Glass Animals along with Milky Chance, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Robert Delong, Misterwives and more. Elephant Baths at the Kansas City Zoo

The Kansas City Zoo is always a family favorite, but this Sunday you and your family can experience even more excitement by watching the Elephant Baths. Elephants get hot and need to cool off, too, so head over to the elephant exhibit at 1:30 p.m. to show your kids how six foot elephants get clean. Spend the rest of your day wandering through the rest of the animals and making memories that are sure to last.

KC Fringe Festival

The KC Fringe Festival continues this weekend, wrapping up on Sunday, July 26th. It’s an annual 11-day performing and visual arts festival hosted by KC Fringe, a Missouri-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to support artists, celebrate expression and engage the community. The shows cover a broad variety of genres and themes including theatre, film, music, dance, comedy and more, so you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. Shows are 60 minutes each (unless otherwise noted) with 30 minutes between shows at each venue.

77 Days of Summer at the College Basketball Experience

Open through August 16
Monday – Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Ticket prices vary.

The College Basketball Experience is two full floors of college basketball and a world class entertainment facility connected to the Sprint Center in the Power and Light District. It’s home to the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, where you can learn about college basketball legends and the history of the game.  But it’s more than a museum, while there guests can also experience college basketball through games, activity stations, free throw competitions, Slam Dunk courts and interactive kiosks. The exhibit is open through August 16th and tickets are cheap, so be sure to head downtown to check it out. Family Pack pricing offered on Sundays.
