Restaurant Grand Opening! – Can I Have A Bite

Opened 7/22

Hours: 6:30 AM-4:30 PM Tuesday-Saturday

8011 Wornall Road has a new occupant, and she’s stirring up the way we think about food. A woman of many talents, Kathy Hale (owner, cook, writer, and pilates instructor) has opened a restaurant that has zero diet restrictions, and is creating food that not only tastes great, but is great for you. While most of her dishes are aimed toward vegans, vegetarians, raw and paleo-dieters, there will always be a meat or poultry dish offered. Her grab-and-go carryout menu includes a spin on classic dishes such as chicken enchiladas, vegan lasagna, vegetable frittatas, Persian lime green beans, soups and even pizzas. Can I Have A Bite is in a shared building with the Red Headed Philosopher Coffee shop, and Kathy’s creations can be purchased there as well. This weekend is a perfect time to try something new and welcome a new business that promises to shake up the restaurant industry. Visit her website for pictures of Kathy’s dishes and learn more about her healthy food mission at  Can I Have A Bite Inc.
